So, what’s the role all about?

We’re looking for a highly skilled and proactive Specialist – Cloud Security Operations Engineer to join our team and help safeguard NiCE Actimize’s cloud infrastructure and applications. This role is pivotal in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of cloud-based assets. You’ll work across teams to monitor security systems, respond to incidents, and implement best practices that strengthen our cloud security posture.

How will you make an impact?

You’ll be responsible for:

• Monitoring cloud security alerts and responding to incidents in real-time.

• Deploying and managing security tools including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.

• Developing and maintaining security policies and standards for cloud environments.

• Automating security processes to improve operational efficiency.

• Conducting regular security assessments and penetration tests to identify and mitigate risks.

• Leading incident response efforts, including root cause analysis and remediation.

• Collaborating with engineering, operations, and development teams to embed security into the development lifecycle.

• Ensuring compliance with relevant security and privacy regulations.

• Staying current with emerging security threats, trends, and technologies.

• Maintaining thorough documentation of security policies, incidents, and procedures.

Have you got what it takes?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

• 10+ years of overall IT experience, with at least 4 years in security operations.

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP.

• Proficiency with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.

• Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks and best practices.

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or AWS Security Specialty (preferred).

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Additional Skills Desired

• Experience with automation and scripting (Python, PowerShell, etc.).

• Familiarity with DevSecOps methodologies.

• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
