Role Overview

You’ll work closely with our executive team and key internal and external stakeholders to shape critical projects that drive growth, partnerships, and true scale. You’ll be working across teams internally and externally to deliver measurable outcomes.

Initial Mandate:

• Google Partnership: Deepen relationships with Google’s product and investment teams (Maps, Routing, Africa Fund) to maximize current investment value and keep them engaged for future rounds.

• Fintech Layer: Explore opportunities to integrate fintech across our platform to drive stickiness and value for customers, including rider wallets and payouts, supply chain and asset financing (fuel, phones, bikes), and other innovative solutions.

• Clean Energy Layer: Identify opportunities with EV providers (e.g., Greenwheels, ARC) for DSP adoption, carbon tracking, ESG reporting, and operational margin improvements.

• Planned Deliveries Product-Market Fit: Support the Product Manager to unlock commercial PMF and deliver the “aha” moments for our customers and their stakeholders (finance, ops, C-suite).

• KFC Commercial Strategy: Partner with me on deal strategy, negotiations, and structuring for Africa-wide expansion.

• AI Infrastructure and Applications: Explore ways to implement AI across the business, in data, technology, operations and customer service, and sales to improve efficiency, insights, and decision-making.

This is just the start. You will play a key role on strategic initiatives to help the country scale across Africa and beyond, optimising logistics, cutting costs and reducing carbon emissions for some of the continent's biggest companies. We are looking for a generalist who can shape strategy, execute and quickly adapt to new challenges.

Desired Profile:

This role is likely to be a good fit for someone with a background in strategy. This could be from consulting, investment or similar professional services experience, or you could have run strategic projects for another high-growth company. However, we are not prescriptive about the exact background of the applicant.

The role would require a minimum of 3 years experience FTE.
