Location: Hermitage, TN
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM (4x10s) + Rotating Weekends
On-Call: 8–10 days/month | On-Call Pay: $8/hr
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Join a high-performing cardiovascular & interventional radiology team as a Special Procedures Technologist. This role supports advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral angiographic procedures while working alongside experienced interventional physicians.
You will rotate between scrubbing, circulating, monitoring, and documenting procedures, with opportunities to cross-train in the Cath Lab.
Responsibilities
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Set up sterile trays and maintain sterile technique
• Administer contrast according to age/weight guidelines
• Monitor and document hemodynamic data and valve area calculations
• Administer IV medications and maintain IV access
• Document cases in Meditech and verify images in PACS
• Handle and dispose of radioactive waste safely
• Participate in rotating on-call coverage and cross-training
• ARRT RT(R) certification
• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Special Procedures, Cath Lab, or EP Lab
• Effective communication and patient care skills
Preferred Qualifications
• ACLS Certification (or obtained within 6 months of hire)
• Neuro lab experience
