Spatial Designer (Retail/Installation/Experience) m/f/d

Your mission:
Sunst Studio is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Exhibition / Spatial Designer (freelance or full-time) to join our multidisciplinary team in Berlin. We’re looking for experienced spatial design support to push our projects to the next level and bring bold ideas to life.

We’re currently working across multiple retail and brand experience projects for global clients and are looking for someone who can jump on board immediately to support our team and integrate directly into ongoing processes.

Your Role
• Contribute to the spatial development of retail and brand spaces, pop-ups, and installations
• Execute high-quality 3D models in SketchUp and fast, expressive Enscape renders
• Work confidently within existing visual frameworks, toolkits, and brand guidelines
• Collaborate with Creative Directors and Producers on concepts, layouts, and storytelling
• Support the team in preparing design decks, visuals, and material documentation
• Translate ideas into clear, buildable design outputs
• Integrate AI-supported workflows into concepting, visualization, and design iteration where relevant

Your profile:
• Minimum 5+ years experience in spatial/retail/exhibition design
• High Level skills in SketchUp + Enscape
• Experience designing for lifestyle or sportswear brands
• Confidence working with brand guidelines and visual systems
• Understanding of materials, buildability, and modular spatial systems
• High aesthetic and technical standards
• Team-oriented, solution-driven working style
• Familiarity with using AI tools (e.g. Midjourney, ChatGPT, Runway, etc.) in creative processes — from ideation to visualization
• Fluent in English (German a plus)
