Spanish Trainer Simulation – Technical Eng. Simulation Manager

As we are committed to delivering high-quality, realistic simulations that help our clients train their personnel and improve their operations, we are looking for a technical manager in the scope of the Spanish Trainer Integrated Training System domain.

The accountabilities of this position will be described below:
Developing the SW to be included in the Embedded Training Solution
Supporting the development and operation of the Engineering Simulator
Supporting the development and deployment of the GBTS
Collaborate on feasibility studies

Your tasks consist of:

Lead simulation / software development teams of up to 10 members
Define Simulation & Software architectures together with the team
Management of externally subcontracted workpackages
Controlling and monitoring of the project schedule
Regular reporting to your line management and the program management organization
Occasional travels to project integration sites or customer installations
Write documents according to the existing company processes.

Required Skills

Hands-on proven Project management experience in Simulation and/or Software projects
Excellent English (negotiation level)
PMP certification would be beneficial
Software development experience in prior assignments
Experience in Agile software development would be beneficial
Experience in training simulation would be beneficial
Experience in the defence industry would be beneficial, ideally in Airbus defence aircraft programs (Sirtap, Eurofighter, M&L, A400M...)
