Nous sommes à la recherche d’un(e) spécialiste en acquisition de talents pour soutenir les besoins de recrutement de Smardt en Amérique du Nord, tant pour des postes techniques qu’opérationnels. Ce rôle est axé sur le processus complet de recrutement, recherche proactive de candidats, et l’amélioration de la rapidité et de la qualité des embauches.Ce poste est essentiel pour réduire la dépendance aux agences externes, améliorer les délais d’embauche et bâtir une capacité de recrutement interne évolutive, alignée avec les plans de croissance et d’expansion de Smardt.

Principales Responsabilités

Processus complet de recrutement

Gérer l’ensemble du processus de recrutement pour des postes permanents

Optimiser le tri des candidatures, les entrevues et la gestion des offres

Collaborer avec les gestionnaires pour définir les besoins

Recherche proactive et développement de bassins de talents

Rechercher des candidats via LinkedIn, Indeed et réseaux

Développer des bassins de talents

Développer des stratégies ciblées de repérage pour des talents techniques spécialisés et de niche en CVC

Opérations de recrutement

Gérer les communications et entrevues

Assurer une bonne expérience candidat

Données et amélioration

Suivre les indicateurs clés

Fournir des recommandations

Événements et engagement

Participer aux salons de l’emploi et événements

Soutenir les initiatives locales

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support Smardt’s North American hiring needs across technical and operational functions. This role will focus on full-cycle recruitment, proactive sourcing, and driving faster, higher-quality hiring outcomes. This position is critical to reducing reliance on external agencies, improving time-to-fill, and building a scalable internal recruiting capability aligned to Smardt’s growth and expansion plans.

What You'll Do:

Full-Cycle Recruitment

Manage end-to-end recruitment for full-time roles across:

Engineering (Mechanical, R&D)

Technical Sales

Manufacturing & Plant Operations

Corporate / Back Office functions (Finance, IT, HR, etc.)

Partner closely with hiring managers to define role requirements and hiring strategies

Drive efficient screening, interview coordination, and offer processes

Sourcing & Talent Pipeline Development

Proactively source candidates using:

LinkedIn Recruiter

Indeed and other job platforms

Industry networks and referrals

Build and maintain pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill roles

Develop targeted sourcing strategies for niche HVAC and technical talent

Recruitment Operations & Execution

Own scheduling, candidate communication, and interview coordination

Ensure a strong and consistent candidate experience

Maintain accurate data and workflows within ATS systems

Data, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

Track and report on key recruiting metrics:

Time-to-fill

Source effectiveness

Pipeline conversion rates

Use data to improve hiring efficiency and outcomes

Provide insights and recommendations to hiring leaders

Events & Market Engagement

Represent Smardt at:

Career fairs

Open houses

Industry and networking events

Support local talent attraction initiatives aligned with business needs

Build presence in key technical talent markets

What You'll Bring:

Skills and Competencies:

5+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience

Previous experience hiring across technical, commercial, operational and manufacturing positions in multi-region environments

Strong sourcing capability (LinkedIn, Indeed, direct outreach)

Experience supporting hiring through events (career fairs, open houses)

Highly driven, proactive, and execution-focused (“go-getter” mindset)

Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills

Data-driven mindset with comfort in reporting and metrics

Experience with ATS platforms such as BambooHR, SAP SuccessFactors, or Workday

Experience recruiting within HVAC, mechanical engineering, or industrial/manufacturing environments is an asset.

Requirements:

Based in Dorval (on-site role)

Fluent in French and English (mandatory)

Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities in a fast-paced environment
