About the role:
We are seeking a highly experienced South Island Regional HSEQ Manager to join our team based in Christchurch. This Regional Leadership role requires a strong background in Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) management within Tier 1 construction companies.
The Regional HSEQ manager must lead by example and positively contribute to the team, championing the Company’s ‘Inside the Box’ culture.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead and oversee all HSEQ activities across the South Island region, with a strong focus on critical major projects.
Develop, implement and maintain robust HSEQ management systems aligned with ISO standards.
Manage and mentor HSEQ teams to ensure compliance and promote a strong HSEQ culture.
Collaborate with project and operational teams to integrate HSEQ best practices.
Qualifications and skills required:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, civil construction, construction management, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in HSEQ management roles within Tier 1 construction companies.
Proven expertise in managing HSEQ systems certified to ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.
Demonstrated success in leading and managing HSEQ teams.
Experience in developing and managing digital HSEQ systems.
