Si vous êtes passionné(e) par la souscription et que vous souhaitez contribuer activement à la transformation du secteur de l’assurance commerciale d’une entreprise en forte croissance, nous recherchons un(e) Souscripteur(trice) pour rejoindre notre équipe.

Relevant de la cheffe d’équipe souscription, Assurances des entreprises, le souscripteur ou la souscriptrice aura comme principales tâches l’analyse de risques pour les petites et moyennes entreprises et sera responsable de souscrire les demandes tout en veillant à ce que la qualité des risques souscrits soit adéquate afin d’atteindre la rentabilité maximum recherchée.

Principales responsabilités

Nouvelles affaires

Assurer la liaison entre les courtiers et les assureurs afin de négocier et déterminer les conditions d’assurances

Développer, souscrire et desservir les nouvelles affaires conformément aux lignes directrices des différents programmes et contrats ou en tant que grossiste

Initier et maintenir une relation privilégiée avec les courtiers en leur offrant un service de qualité optimale

Représenter la compagnie lors d’événements de l’industrie, selon les besoins

Développer des liens d’affaires avec les courtiers existants et nouveaux par le biais de visites de marketing

Profil recherché

3 années et plus d’expérience en assurances commercial

AEC, DEC ou permis de courtier d’assurance, fort atout

CRM, PAA ou FPAA, fort atout

Adaptation et flexibilité face au changement

Capacité d’analyse et de prise de décisions appuyées par de solides connaissances techniques

Avoir un esprit de synthèse

Bon sens de la communication

Excellentes capacités de négociation

Sens des responsabilités et des priorités

Niveau de service élevé et toujours en mode solutions au profit de notre clientèle en forte croissance

If you are passionate about underwriting and want to actively contribute to transforming the commercial insurance sector of a fast-growing company, we are looking for an Underwriter to join our team.

Reporting to the Team Leader, Commercial Insurance Underwriting, the underwriter will primarily analyze risks for small and medium-sized businesses and will be responsible for underwriting applications while ensuring that the quality of underwritten risks is adequate to achieve the targeted profitability.

Key Responsibilities

New Business

Act as a liaison between brokers and insurers to negotiate and determine insurance terms

Develop, underwrite, and manage new business in accordance with program and contract guidelines, or as a wholesale underwriter

Initiate and maintain strong relationships with brokers by providing optimal service

Represent the company at industry events, as needed

Build business relationships with existing and new brokers through marketing visits

Candidate Profile

3+ years of experience in commercial insurance

AEC, DEC, or insurance broker license is a strong asset

CRM, PAA, or FPAA certification is a strong asset

Adaptable and flexible in the face of change

Strong analytical skills and ability to make decisions based on solid technical knowledge

Ability to synthesize information

Strong communication skills

Excellent negotiation abilities

Sense of responsibility and ability to prioritize

High service level, always solution-oriented to support our rapidly growing clientele
