Job Description

The Solutions Sales Professional – AWS is responsible for driving revenue growth across ZainTECH’s Amazon Web Services (AWS) portfolio. This role focuses on selling AWS Infrastructure, Migration & Modernization, Data & Analytics, Application Services, and AWS Security solutions to enterprise customers. The position requires strong AWS technical acumen combined with proven enterprise sales capability to help customers accelerate cloud adoption and digital transformation.

Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Execution

• Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy focused on AWS cloud solutions.
• Build and maintain a strong AWS sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, partner engagement, and AWS co-sell motions.
• Achieve or exceed revenue, consumption, and growth targets for AWS services.

Client Engagement

• Understand customer IT environments, cloud maturity, and business transformation objectives.
• Position AWS solutions to address scalability, cost optimization, resilience, security, and innovation needs.
• Act as a trusted AWS advisor to CIOs, CTOs, Cloud Leaders, and senior stakeholders.
• Lead commercial negotiations and close AWS-centric opportunities.

AWS Solution Design & Positioning

• Collaborate with Solution Architects to design AWS solutions including: AWS IaaS & PaaS, Cloud migration and modernization, Containers & Kubernetes, Data, Analytics & AI, AWS Security
• Ensure solutions align with AWS Well-Architected Framework and AWS best practices.

Presentations & Workshops

• Deliver AWS-focused presentations, demonstrations, and executive briefings.
• Lead discovery sessions, cloud assessments, and AWS migration workshops (CAF, Well-Architected Reviews, Landing Zones).

Market & AWS Alignment

• Stay current with AWS product updates, programs, incentives, and funding mechanisms.
• Work closely with AWS sales and technical teams to drive joint pipeline and cosell opportunities.

Proposal Development

• Own end-to-end AWS proposal development including scope, high-level architecture, pricing models, and delivery approach.
• Ensure proposals align with customer requirements, compliance standards, and ZainTECH quality benchmarks.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with AWS architects, delivery teams, and marketing to support go-to-market initiatives.
• Support AWS-focused campaigns, industry solutions, and reference architectures.

Customer Success & Handover

• Ensure seamless handover from sales to AWS delivery and managed services teams.
• Drive AWS adoption, consumption growth, renewals, and upsell opportunities post-deployment.


Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in IT or cloud solution sales with strong specialization in AWS.
• Proven success selling AWS migration, modernization, and managed services.
• Strong understanding of: AWS compute, storage, networking, and security services, AWS migration tools and frameworks, AWS data, analytics, AI, and application services, AWS commercial and pricing models (On-Demand, Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, MAP funding)
• Demonstrated ability to manage enterprise and strategic customer accounts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• AWS certifications are a strong advantage, including: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate / Professional, AWS Certified Advanced Networking or Security – Specialty.
