The pay range is $95,000.00 - $171,000.00
Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications. The purpose of the Merchandising – Process & Operations team is to support the merchandising organization through creating processes, driving role clarity, training, and advancing technology in partnership with the product team, to enable the core teams to maximize business results. The team plays a key role in establishing and sustaining process efficiency and consistency. Consistency across roles, process and technology is a critical enabler that increases efficiency and broadens our Merchandise teams’ ability to deliver relevant assortments to our Guests.
As a Solution Lead, you will play the role in:
• Developing new processes and optimizing existing processes to improve consistency, efficiency, and role clarity. This includes building and maintaining documentation, training, and routines.
• Supporting and leading pilots and launches that impact people, processes, or technology, including partnering with team members from across the Enterprise.
• Change management and implementation for a Pyramid or a specific body of work. Your role will be to provide operational support to land changes successfully
• Problem solving operational challenges in support of a specific pyramid or initiative, including things like transition T&A, assortment line plan, weekly in-season routines.
You will also influence Merchandising and Roundtable leadership to gain alignment on processes and activities involving Merchandising functions. You will partner with other Roundtable Operations teams, ensuring the voice of the merchant is included in process redesign and alignment conversations that expand outside of Merchandising.
Job duties may change at any time due to Merchandising Capabilities – Process & Ops priorities or Enterprise business needs.
About you:
• College Degree or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of Merchandising and/or Planning experience
• Passionate about elevating Merchandising functional expertise and coaching and training others
• Strong collaboration skills to partner with multiple CFT partners and Roundtable leaders
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to tailor communication to level, function, and experience.
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving capabilities
• Initiative to operate in a self-directed manner, often with ambiguous requirements
• Broad multi-category/ multi-channel experience preferred
• Experience in the training or operations preferred
This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
