Solutions Architect

We have become a market leader in Bitcoin security and Layer-2 technologies. Our products are designed to make financial systems more efficient, secure, and robust.

We are seeking a Solutions Architect to serve as the primary technical and strategic advisor for our clients, including banks, custody providers, asset managers, fund administrators, and corporate treasuries.

This role will work with customers on complex opportunities, support revenue attainment for our product lines, and serve as a key advisor on go-to-market strategy. You will collaborate closely with commercial teams to drive pipeline and revenue, while also providing critical market insights to our product and engineering teams, directly influencing the future of Blockstream’s offerings.

What You’ll Be Doing (Responsibilities):

• Drive customer solutions strategy within the Enterprise Products team, leading to the identification of product utility, efficiencies and synergies within target audience’s tech stack

• Increase Enterprise Team’s competitive advantage by simplifying solutions for complex opportunities and accelerating solution adoption.

• Demonstrate a deep understanding and working knowledge of digital asset infrastructure, stablecoins/RWA, blockchain networks, and crypto payment solutions.

• Communicate the regulatory landscape and compliance requirements for crypto custody and blockchain-based technology across different jurisdictions.

• Serve as a "Voice of the Customer" internally to drive product and feature request prioritization.

• Create reference architectures to uplevel the team and refine reference solutions based on product enhancements and feedback from customers.

• Act as an escalation point to drive complex technical issues to resolution with Blockstream’s Product & Engineering teams.

• Support Enterprise Team’s validation of solutions and deal strategy related to blockchain, crypto, and tokenization implementations.

• Stay current on competitive analysis and market differentiation in the digital asset space.

• Support marketing events including executive briefings, conferences, user groups, and trade shows focused on crypto and blockchain technology.

• Driving resources management across Product & Engineering during negotiation/closing phases to determine SLAs and necessary resource demand; contributing to economics and time to delivery.

What We Look For In You (Required Qualifications):

• Proven success within a solutions engineering or a similar client-facing technical role, ideally within fintech, crypto or blockchain for alternative asset mgrs (PE/HFs), investment banking, prime brokerage, corporate consulting and/or Layer2 ecosystems.

• Experience with functional or imperative programming languages -- e.g., Python, Rust.

• Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript frameworks -- e.g., JQuery, React, Vue.js, Angular, ember.js or similar.

• Experience developing full stack applications that include Web front ends, HTTP APIs, SQL and DB backends; preferably within fintech.

• Experience deploying production-ready apps, using CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes.

• Deep understanding of stablecoin mechanics, RWA issuance, the broader DeFi landscape, and the underlying infrastructure of crypto payment systems.

• Experience with blockchain APIs and integrating digital asset solutions into traditional financial systems.

• In-depth knowledge of global digital asset regulations, including MiCA and the US regulatory landscape.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, comfortable explaining complex crypto concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice To Haves (Preferred Qualifications):

• Strong knowledge of software engineering and architecture patterns, with the ability to understand how blockchain technologies and traditional systems interact.

• Background in treasury management, corporate finance, or digital asset custody solutions.

• Experience with FIX, Risk/PMS, OMS, fund admin/accounting and market data.

• Experience providing solutions within or as a service provider for hedge funds, private equity, investment banks and corporate consultants.

• Experience enabling and scaling a GTM team in the crypto or fintech space.

• Experience with traditional payment systems and how they integrate with crypto infrastructure.

• Understanding of cross-border payments and international money movement regulations.
