Within our Professional Services Communication Service Providers practice, you will be working closely with our product, engineering as well as operations team to shape how CSPs can leverage Cato’s SASE platform to deliver next generation services to their customers.
As a Solutions Architect you will design how CSPs integrate their network with Cato’s technology.
Responsibilities:
• Act as technical lead for Cato SASE integration with strategic partners across the telecommunication, service provider industries in both pre-sales and post sales motions
• Perform project requirements discovery, resource effort and timeline estimations, and Statement of Work (SOW) creation
• Perform architectural design services including creation high-level/low-level design (HLD/LLD), system integration architecture, test & validation plans, and method of procedure (MOP)
• Assist with Cato SASE integration into partner OSS & BSS platforms for automation of services including billing, order management, and service provisioning
• Collaborate closely with peers in Product Management, Engineering, and Operations throughout design, implementation, and integration project phases
• Provide guidance and hands-on assistance with testing and validation of network architecture and systems integration
• Act as lead point of contact for assistance with technical issue diagnostical and resolution
• Develop reference architectures, knowledge base articles, best practice whitepapers, and other technical content for both internal and external facing consumption
• Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to strategic partners
Requirements:
• 10+ years of experience either as a senior engineer or architect for a Global Service Integrator within the Communication Service Providers practice or for a large infrastructure technology vendor in support of Communication Service Providers
• 3+ years of experience working in the telecommunications industry supporting OSS/BSS systems integration
• Experience with WAN technologies and protocols including MPLS, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, QoS, and NAT
• Proficient with scripting, automation, and system integration technologies including RestAPI, GraphQL, SOAP, Python, Terraform, Bash, etc.
• Knowledgeable of Kubernetes, OpenShift, Ansible use in telecommunications environment
• Operating knowledge of infrastructure security services including firewalls, proxies, IPS, secure web gateway, and CASB/DLP is a plus
• Industry recognized certification from major network vendor is a plus (e.g., CCIE, JNCIE)
• Solid command of the English language (written and spoken) required with additional language skills being a plus
• Excellent customer interaction and presentation skills with ability to clearly articulate to different audiences and bring the message across in a concise, professional manner
• Ability to influence and persuade at all levels and gain a ‘Trusted Advisor’ status with key stakeholders
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with innate ability to methodically get to the root of issues
• Must be very well organized and able to work effectively in a nimble and fast-paced environment
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
