About the Team

Our Solution Consulting team acts as a strategic partner to the sales organization, responsible for building a compelling vision of Workday’sSupply Chain Management (SCM) solution within the Healthcare Industry.

It is this team's job to bring the value of Workday’s SCM solutions to life and showcase how the world of work can be transformed within theever-changing Healthcare industry sector. In addition to partnering with our sales counterparts to drive both Net New pursuits and CustomerBase upsells, this team also collaborates regularly with our Product Management, Services/Implementation, Marketing, and ValueManagement teams on account activity. This provides unique exposure to different areas of the business and strengthens the team’s holisticunderstanding of the business.

About the Role

We are seeking a Solution Consultant with Supply Chain Management experience to join our Healthcare industry-focused team. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to executives at healthcare organizations. 

Workday Solution Consultants act as trusted advisors throughout the entire lifecycle—from Net New pursuits to high-value Customer Base upsells. We navigate a complex environment that demands a blend of curiosity, flexibility, and drive. Our solution consultants don't just demo features and functions, they deliver value-based executive presentations and tailored product demonstrations that solve unique business challenges.

Our Solution Consulting team is a strategic partner to the Sales organization. You will work closely with Account Executives and your peer Solution Consultants to support a combination of fast-moving, efficient opportunities as well as large, strategic deals that require deep investment. 

Solution Consultants are an important driver to our business. You will have an important role in spotting opportunities to better support our customers, uplevel your peers, and operate with efficiency and purpose. You will participate in various projects, initiatives, and crossfunctional teams to achieve our team’s goals of driving increased revenue for Workday and sustainable business outcomes for customers by leveraging Workday technology. Our culture is a key foundation of how we work together and how we hold each other accountable.

About You

Solution Consultant

• 3+ years of extensive Health Care Supply Chain domain expertise

• 3+ years of business experience with relevant cloud-based Supply Chain management applications (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Infor, etc.)

• 3+ years in a solution consultant, sales consulting AND/OR implementation role

• 2+ years working with core Supply Chain concepts with advanced domain knowledge in strategic sourcing, procurement, and inventory.

Sr. Solution Consultant

• 5+ years of extensive Health Care Supply Chain domain expertise

• 5+ years of business experience with relevant cloud-based Supply Chain management applications (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Infor, etc.)

• 5+ years in a solution consultant, sales consulting AND/OR implementation role

• 3+ years working with core Supply Chain concepts with advanced domain knowledge in strategic sourcing, procurement, and inventory.

Other Qualifications:

• Executive Presence: Ability to command a room at the C-Suite level and influence complex decision-making processes through presentations (both in-person and remote).

• Value-Based Selling: Expert-level discovery skills with the ability to translate technical requirements into a compelling vision for digital transformation and the business impact.

• Agility: A self-starter who thrives in ambiguous, high-stakes, fast-paced environments and can manage multiple concurrent projects with precision and accountability.

• Adaptability: Comfortable with high-velocity and magnitude of change. Leans into change as a growth opportunity and embraces a continuous improvement mindset. (Always looking to improve your craft!)

• Creativity: Generates unique ideas or approaches to improve the work with a willingness to innovate and take calculated risks.

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.
