Solution Architect Sovereign Cloud (m/f/x)

Your mission:
You are acting as a strategic bridge between technology and business, you will play an active role in shaping secure digital sovereignty for our clients across Germany and Europe. In this pivotal liaison role, you will translate complex business requirements into custom, highly secure SINA cloud architectures while also rolling up your sleeves to get directly involved. By collaborating closely with all stakeholders, ranging from our clients and internal product management to our parent company secunet, you will ensure conceptual excellence and guide our open source solutions all the way through to a successful and quality assured client handover.

Your tasks:
• Crafting robust technical designs and architectural concepts for secure cloud and on-premises infrastructures, (such as the SINA Cloud)
• Translating unique client and business requirements into clear technical specifications and solution designs built around our product portfolio
• Providing comprehensive guidance to our clients on designing business processes and role profiles, as well as integrating security concepts
• Facilitating seamless communication and strategic alignment across clients, internal teams, and our parent company
• Ensuring strict adherence to IT security standards, scalability requirements, and performance best practices throughout the entire project lifecycle
• Handling integration and configuration tasks, alongside designing and leading technical training sessions for both internal and external audiences

Requirements:
• In depth expertise in Linux systems alongside a strong technological foundation in open source cloud infrastructures, networking technologies, and databases
• Ideally, extensive practical experience within the CNCF ecosystem, such as Kubernetes and OpenShift, as well as OpenStack, including certifications like CKA, CKS, RHCE, and RHCOA
• Exceptional consulting skills with the ability to present complex technical topics clearly to a variety of audiences and independently translate them into actionable technical roadmaps
• A strong awareness of highly sensitive security requirements and architectures, ideally with some initial exposure to the public sector
• Fluent German proficiency at a C1 level paired with a solid command of English at a B1 level and willingness to undergo an extended security clearance (SÜ2)
• Openness to traveling within Germany up to 40% of the time, including projects at client locations, and a permanent residence in Germany
