Our client, a national financial leader, is looking for a Solution Architect responsible for conceptualizing and designing detailed solutions for specific projects enabling the organization to meet business objectives. The focus of this role will be on client-side applications (JavaScript and native iOS applications), with a secondary focus on services/API specifications. .

MUST HAVE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Experience in general architecture, operations, and deployment methodologies and techniques (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman, ITIL)
• Solid understanding and applied expertise in solutions architecture designs and concepts which include but are not limited to: SDLC, security, high availability, recovery, performance, monitoring and operations design, and application architecture
• Experience with JavaScript and supporting best practices, frameworks and standards
• Experience with client-side applications (JavaScript and native iOS/Android applications)
• Proven experience, demonstrated designing and delivery of scalable and distributed web applications
• Experience designing and developing Hybrid solutions for multiple mobile platforms with HTML5/CSS/JS
• Proven experience configuring, debugging, and deploying enterprise applications in complex environments

Working knowledge of:

• Modern web application trends like Responsive Design, JavaScript MVC frameworks and principles of Enterprise Grade web sites
• Core elements of “Open Web” applications (HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript) and the variety of technologies, frameworks respectively
• AJAX, REST, SOAP, Databases, Linux, Windows, Web content management
• SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
• A desire to explore new and emerging web and development technologies and synthesize recommendations
• Experience in influencing stakeholders and leadership and to guide broader adoption
• Posses strong business acumen and the ability to identify key issues and their impact in a broad business context
• Ability to translate technology into business terms and value, with a history of influencing and improving business solutions
• Ability to communicate effectively with developers, stakeholders, peers, and leadership driving results and action

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide technical leadership to ensure technical design and implementation are aligned with business requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the project team and the architecture delivery organization.
• Ensure compliance of technology solutions with architectural standards and participation in the full development life cycle of the delivered capability.
