Solution Architect – Cargo Inspection Systems (Global Role)

Join our global team shaping the next generation of Cargo Inspection Systems (CIS). As a Solution Architect, you will design and deliver complex CIS solutions, combining our portfolio with leading partner technologies to meet evolving customer, regulatory, and operational needs. You’ll work closely with sales, service, and technical teams worldwide, influencing product development and driving strategic growth.

The position can be based in Milan, Dubai or Singapore.

What You’ll Do

• Lead technical solution design for global CIS tenders and strategic deals.
• Support sales with technical compliance, solution scoping, costing, and timelines.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams to deliver solutions on time and on budget.
• Identify strategic opportunities and build strong customer relationships.
• Translate customer and market needs into requirements for R&D, digital, and integration teams.
• Coach regional sales/pre‑sales teams and contribute to continuous improvement of solution architecture practices.
• Represent the company at workshops, trainings, and industry events.
• Act with autonomy, making informed decisions and escalating when needed.

 

 

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, industrial engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong background in solution design and cross‑functional project delivery.
• Experience with detection technologies and cargo inspection systems.
• Exposure to sales environments and direct customer engagement.
• Understanding of security operations and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills, able to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Collaborative mindset, adaptability, and the ability to influence without authority.
• Fluency in English.
• Experience with infrastructure or civil works coordination in industrial environments is an advantage.
