Job Description

"Solution Architect Azure -12+ years of experience in solution architecture, system integration, or enterprise architecture. We are seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect to lead architecture design and governance for strategic initiatives within the Grid Integration Business Unit. The role spans the full project lifecycle including Feasibility, Concept & Design, Development, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Deployment.
The Architect will define scalable, secure, and future-ready architectures supporting grid modernization initiatives which requires deep expertise in enterprise architecture, system integration, cloud/on-prem hybrid landscapes, and energy domain knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead technical feasibility assessments for new initiatives within Grid Integration
• Act as the primary technical decision-maker for architecture-related topics
• Conduct current-state architecture analysis and define target-state architecture
• Evaluate technology options, vendor platforms, and integration approaches
• Perform architecture risk analysis and recommend mitigation strategies
• Contribute to business case development from a technology and cost perspective
• Define overall solution architecture (application, integration, data, infrastructure, security)
• Develop high-level design documents (HLD), detailed solution design documents (LLD) and architectural blueprints
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and IT governance
• Conduct architecture reviews and design walkthroughs
• Design secure integration between IT and OT environments
• Work closely with Project Managers, Engineering teams, Infrastructure teams and other stakeholders
Experience
12+ years of experience in solution architecture, system integration, or enterprise architecture
• Experience in energy, utilities, power systems, or grid integration environments
• Experience across full SDLC (Feasibility to Deployment).
• Proven experience in large-scale, multi-system integration projects
• Strong knowledge of IT/OT convergence architectures and Integration architectures (API, middleware, event-driven systems)
• Strong analytical and systems thinking capability
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills
• Ability to work across engineering and IT teams
