We are looking for an Expert Solaris / Linux / Tomcat / DBA Technician to work on a stable project with a permanent contract, in a hybrid format in Madrid (office 2-3 days per month).

Functions

Manage and maintain Solaris 10 and 11 systems, ensuring their availability, performance, and security.
Manage and optimize Oracle databases on Solaris environments, performing installation, configuration, backup and tuning tasks.
Manage storage and backup solutions with Veritas 7, ensuring data integrity and recovery.
Configure, deploy, and maintain Tomcat application servers, including log management, deployments, and monitoring.
Deploy applications in production and testing environments, coordinating with development and QA teams.
Monitor the performance and availability of critical systems, applying proactive preventive maintenance measures.
Automate administration and monitoring tasks, documenting processes and configurations.
Collaborate with infrastructure, development, and database teams in resolving incidents and implementing technical improvements.
Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices in managed environments.

Work modality

Schedule: Mon-Thu: 08:30 or 09:00 – 17:30 or 18:00. Intensive Friday.
90% remote work (office 2-3 days a month)
