Job Description
• Supervise and monitor daily site activities to ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, method statements, and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with project engineers, contractors, and clients to plan daily work, manage progress, and resolve site issues promptly.
• Conduct site survey, pre-work briefings, toolbox meetings, and ensure all workers comply with HIRARC, MOS, PTW, and other safety documentation requirements.
• Verify site readiness, materials availability, and manpower allocation before commencement of work.
• Monitor workmanship quality and ensure timely completion of tasks within schedule and budget.
• Record daily site activities, including work progress, manpower attendance, material usage, and equipment deployment.
• Inspect and ensure that all tools and equipment are in good working condition and properly used.
• Support site testing, commissioning, and final inspection with client representatives.
• Report site issues, incidents, or near misses immediately and support corrective actions.
• Manage demobilization and site handover after project completion.
Requirements:
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field.
• Possession of Chargeman AO/A1/A4 or Wireman PW4 (if applicable) is an added advantage.
• CIDB Green Card holder and valid Working at Height certificate are required before mobilization.
• Minimum 2 years of site supervision experience in rooftop solar, electrical installation, or construction projects.
• Knowledge of site safety, quality, and documentation practices (MOS, HIRARC, PTW, QA/QC).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience in managing subcontractors and small work teams effectively.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) for reporting purposes.
• Responsible, proactive, and safety-conscious.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexible and adaptable to dynamic project schedules.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel or stay at project site as required.
