Brda Electric is a well-established electrical contractor with over 35 years of experience and a strong reputation for quality workmanship and exceptional customer service. We are expanding our solar division and seeking a motivated Solar Appointment Setter to support our in-house solar closer.
This is an inside sales role focused on contacting warm leads from our existing customer base and using company-provided software to generate and schedule qualified solar consultation appointments.
Position Overview
The Solar Appointment Setter is responsible for contacting homeowners, qualifying interest in solar solutions, and scheduling consultation appointments for the solar closer. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable on the phone, goal-oriented, and motivated by performance-based compensation.
Key Responsibilities
Contact existing customers and warm leads to set solar consultation appointments
Utilize company-provided dialing and lead-generation software
Qualify homeowners and confirm decision-maker availability
Coordinate closely with the solar closer to maximize appointment conversion
Accurately log calls, notes, and follow-ups in the CRM system
Performance Expectations (KPIs)
120–180 outbound calls per day
15–30 quality homeowner conversations per day
3–5 qualified appointments set per day
15–20 appointments set per week
70%+ appointment show rate
Consistent and accurate CRM activity
Appointments must be properly qualified (homeowner present, decision-maker available, solar eligible)
Compensation, Earning Potential & Benefits
This position offers a base salary plus performance-based bonuses, including:
Base salary
Bonuses for each appointment that is set
Bonuses for closed solar jobs up to $40,000
Higher bonuses for closed solar jobs over $40,000
Additional monthly bonus when 15 or more solar deals close in a single month

Qualifications
Comfortable and confident speaking with homeowners by phone
Strong communication and follow-up skills
Self-motivated with a performance-driven mindset
Basic computer skills and CRM proficiency
Sales or appointment-setting experience preferred, but not required
