Software Tester (.NET)

We currently have a vacancy for an Software Tester (.NET) fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Vienna, Austria. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks

• Ability to use a disciplined approach for planning, designing, executing and reporting on software testing;
• Working in an Agile software development, Microsoft Team Foundation Server or equivalent to support software testing;
• Develop several types of software testing (e.g. functional, performance, security, etc.);
• Hands-on working on creating test cases, test plans, test reports;
• Preparation of technical documentation.

Requirements:
• University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 7 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in testing Microsoft .NET web applications and implementing test automation frameworks;
• Minimum of 3 years of experience using Microsoft Team Foundation Server or equivalent to support software testing;
• Experience with several types of manual and automated testing: Functional, Regression, Integration, Performance, and Security Testing;
• Experience working on Test Automation & Frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, NUnit, MSTest;
• Experience in testing with Microsoft .NET Technologies, such as ASP.NET, C#, MVC, Web API, Entity Framework;
• Experience working with Agile, Collaboration Tools and DevOps (Azure DevOps);
• Hands-on working experience creating test cases, test plans, test strategies and test reports;
• Experience working on REST API testing using C#, JSON, Postman, SOAP UI will be considered an asset;
• Experience with Performance & Load Testing using JMeter, AppDynamics will be considered an asset;
• Experience with AI tools for test case/data generation will be considered an asset;
• One of the following certifications are required: ISTQB Foundation Level, Test Automation Certification;
• Excellent command of the English language and good understanding of French will be an advantage.
