America Networks is a leading sensor and networking solutions partner for companies in any Industrial, Manufacturing, and Waste management space.
We design and manufacture sensors for storage tanks, water metering, energy metering, gas monitoring, and asset management.

Our founders are hardcore telecommunications engineers with combined 200 + years of experience in designing, optimizing and performance engineering; for several mid – large wireless carriers internationally - that saw a need to provide low power, cost efficient sensors to collect data, create alerts, and predict needed actions. We have combined these sensors with low power, wide area (LPWA) networking technologies to provide clients various options to decrease re-occurring costs associated with operating an IoT network of sensors and connected devices.

We specialize in design, deployment, optimization, and support of these Networks. Whether an off-the-shelf or custom solution is needed, we’ll create a solution and push the data on the best cloud platform to fit your needs, including your own.

Software Developer - Node JS This position will be part of the New Products and Business group that is focusing on developing new cutting edge products in the Kids segment. We are looking to hire a strong Node JS developer who will be working under a software lead. This person will be the go to person to provide insights into existing code base either to add new features or troubleshoot existing features. This person will be also writing code for both testing and committing code into production on a need basis. Qualifications: - 1+ years of NodeJS - RESTful API design and development - Experience with XML / JSON - Professional experience with a version control system (Git preferred) - Should have experience working in a Test-Driven and/or Behavioral Driven Development environment - Proficient in bash - Attention to details, and ability to stay on task. - Open to learn new language / technologies Below Qualifications will be a plus - Experience in AWS Lambda, Dynamodb - Knowledge in Java or ruby - Exposure to Microservices Architecture - Design Patterns - Distributed architecture
