What we intend to do together:
• Promote Teamwork: Collaborate closely with your agile team and other teams within the sub-domain. Share your technical expertise and contribute to a culture of mutual support and continuous improvement.
• Take Responsibility: Take ownership of implementing designs and requirements provided by System Engineers and Software Architects. Ensure your code meets high standards for quality, safety, and security.
• Develop Robust Software: Write clean, maintainable code in Java and C++ on Linux platforms, using development environments like IntelliJ. Contribute to the design and delivery of requested features.
• Automate and Integrate: Apply Continuous Integration & Delivery practices using Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, Git, and Bitbucket to streamline development and deployment processes.
• Test and Validate: Ensure software reliability through unit testing with JUnit and automated testing using Cucumber. Maintain a strong focus on quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Manage Complexity: Work effectively in a multi-team agile environment, balancing technical requirements with system-level constraints and priorities.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders and collaborate closely with project teams, System Engineers, Software Architects, and customers.

• Stakeholder Management: Communicate both internally and externally, and collaborate closely with project teams, stakeholders and customers.

What you convince with:
• You hold a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field.
• You have at least 5 years of recent, relevant professional experience in Java development.
• You are experienced in Agile/Scrum methodologies and enjoy working in cross-functional teams.
• You are familiar with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, and version control systems like Git/Bitbucket.
• You have hands-on experience with unit testing (JUnit) and test automation using Cucumber.
• You enjoy working in a team and see mutual support and collaboration as a given.
• You take a proactive approach, driving ideas and solutions forward independently.
• You work autonomously and are confident in taking ownership of your tasks and results.
• You have excellent Dutch and English skills, both written and spoken.
