What you’ll achieve As a Software Senior Principal Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing scalable software solutions for the enterprise client line of business (eg. Laptops, Workstations, Desktops etc.). You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products. Will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software basis the customer’s business goals, needs and general business environment. You will: Be responsible for design, definition and implementation of advanced Windows features on Dell systems Work on Windows feature enablement and Windows deployment within the group Contribute to the design and architecture of high-quality, complex systems and software/storage environments Prepare, review and evaluate software/storage specifications for products and systems Contribute to the development and implementation of test strategies for complex software products and systems/for storage products and systems Take the first step towards your dream career Every Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here’s what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements 12-25 years of relevant development experience in C programming with a master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related discipline. Proven industry experience on Windows/Driver or related system technologies In-depth understanding of Windows feature requirements and the corresponding hardware/software/driver dependency Ability to lead and provide engineering inputs during all phases of development cycle, including design, implementation, integration, test and delivery Experienced in root cause analysis to solve complex issues Desirable Requirements Windows Infrastructure Management experience is a plus Who we are We believe that each of us has the power to make an impact.
