The Role

As a Software Security Engineer, you'll join a small, fast-moving team designing and deploying next-generation warehouse robotic systems. You'll lead our software security efforts — protecting our robots and the sensitive data they handle across a range of environments, from onboard and on-prem to cloud-based deployments. Our robots are distributed across customer sites and operate across diverse software and hardware configurations, so the challenges are real, varied, and meaningful. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with your skills, qualifications, and experience.

You're energized by the idea of building security infrastructure that protects cutting-edge robotic systems in the field.

Main responsibilities::
• Assess the full breadth of potential exposure

• Build a prioritized plan of action

• Implement key parts of solutions; coordinate with other team members to cover more solutions

• Design software security standards for the rest of the team to maintain best practices

• Adapt to new and emergent attack methods (e.g. new era of AI tools)

• Document solution

What you’ll bring to the table::
• Depth of knowledge on software security

• A desire and ability to keep the knowledge current

• Coverage of Ubuntu, wireless networking, Google Cloud, encrypted drive volumes, intrusion detection & forensics
