As part of our position as a leading company in the aerospace field, we are looking to reinforce our team with a Safety‑Critical Software Engineer to join strategic projects involving embedded systems and mission‑critical software development.
What will you do?
Design and develop safety‑critical and real‑time software following space and aeronautics industry standards.
Program in C++, and potentially in other languages such as Python or Ada.
Integrate and validate systems on embedded architectures (RISC‑V, ARM, PowerPC) and real‑time operating systems (RTEMS, VxWorks, FreeRTOS).
Manage software configuration control (GIT, SVN).
Participate in verification and validation activities, including test definition and execution, and the use of EGSE/SCOE benches.
Document system and software design using UML/SysML, following standards such as MISRA‑C.
Collaborate in integrating embedded hardware control systems and communication interfaces (RS422, CAN, LVDS).
Participate in improving the DevOps infrastructure (Docker, Podman, Jenkins).

3 to 5 years of hands‑on experience in safety‑critical software development for the space or aeronautics industry.
Advanced programming experience in C++ and knowledge of Python or Ada.
Strong background in real‑time operating systems and embedded architectures.
Experience with software configuration control tools (GIT, SVN).
Experience in software verification and validation.
Ability to work in teams and collaborate in multidisciplinary environments.
Availability to work in a hybrid model in Alcobendas.
