What you'll achieve As a Senior Software Quality Engineer focused on PowerMax system test automation, you will architect and implement comprehensive test automation frameworks using Python. You'll design end-to-end test scenarios that validate PowerMax storage architecture, automate infrastructure provisioning via SSH and REST APIs, and build parallel execution frameworks that scale. You'll work with Product Development, Product Management, and Customer Support teams to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction. You'll drive the evolution from functional testing to true system-level validation. You will: Develop and maintain comprehensive test coverage and plans that validate PowerMax storage architecture and features Design and implement Python-based test automation and infrastructure for end-to-end system validation Develop new and re-evaluate existing test methodologies and processes Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines using Git, GitHub, and Jenkins Drive continuous improvement in test automation methodologies and processes. Here's what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements 5+ years of related experience in software quality engineering and test automation Strong Python programming with advanced Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills - class design, inheritance, polymorphism Expertise in REST API automation using Python requests module Broad system-level knowledge and understanding of enterprise storage architectures bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. UI automation experience using Selenium. Desirable Requirements Experience with storage protocols and enterprise infrastructure integration.
