Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer - Intern who is passionate about delivering high-quality software. This internship provides hands-on experience in building and maintaining automated Smoke and Regression Test Suites using Playwright, while exploring the use of AI-assisted tools to enhance test automation efficiency and coverage.

The ideal candidate is eager to learn modern QA practices, has a strong attention to detail, and values quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Smoke and Regression testing using Playwright

Assist in analyzing application requirements and translating them into effective test scenarios

Execute automated test suites and analyze test results to identify defects and quality gaps

Leverage AI-powered tools to improve test creation, maintenance, and optimization

Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to ensure quality standards are met

Document test cases, automation workflows, and test execution results clearly and accurately

Participate in the automation scripts code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of test frameworks and processes

Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field

Basic knowledge of software testing concepts

Familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript is a plus

Exposure to or strong interest in test automation tools, particularly Playwright, is an advantage

Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset

Passion for software quality and continuous learning

Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

A personal laptop is required to participate in this internship

Nice to Have

Experience with version control tools such as Git

Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines

Interest or experience in AI-assisted testing or automation tools

Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development practices
