Software Quality Assurance Analyst and Tester

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: $75K-$110K (depending on experience)

Work Location: This is a remote position.

Essential Functions:

• Analyze, document, troubleshoot, and test web sites and/or transactional applications.
• Develop comprehensive test strategies and write test cases that will thoroughly evaluate and test functionality, regression, performance, usability and security of web applications.
• Identify and document bugs or errors and provide detailed feedback to the development team.
• Implement both manual and automated testing methods.
• Assist with collecting and documenting system processes and business rules to ensure test cases align with business requirements.
• Work closely with software developers to ensure understanding of and adherence to requirements.
• Support 508 compliance testing.
• Other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements:
Required:

• Experience conducting quality assurance and software testing for IT web applications required.
• Experience providing requirements gathering/analysis for IT applications required.
• Manual and automated testing experience required.
• BS/BA degree and 3 years related experience OR AA/AS degree and 7 years related experience OR HS and 9 years related experience.

Desired:

• Experience testing applications built on Amazon Web Services (AWS) highly desired.
• PostgreSQL or Oracle database experience preferred.
• Experience with GitLab highly desired.
• Experience with Playwright a plus.
• Basic programming understanding is a plus.

Security Clearance:

• Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance. Active Secret clearance desired, interim Secret acceptable to start. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.

Education:

• BS/BA degree and 3 years related experience OR AA/AS degree and 7 years related experience OR HS and 9 years related experience.
