Job Title: SOFTWARE QA ENGINEER 3
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Duration: 4+Months contract (Possibility of extensions)

Job Description:
We are looking for an individual to provide an update of features to a JIRA plug-in including:
- Performance enhancements to database table generation
- Bug fixes for plug-in feature issues and enhancements
- Improvements to export and formatting of table data from JIRA, (HTML, Text, and Excel formats)
- Enhancements to web page displays under management and control by JIRA
- Generation of additional data content from the SQL database within JIRA

This position will require the individual to get quickly familiar with our custom JIRA plug-in and its interaction with the
database for storage and retrieval of information. The UI robustness for this plug-in is critical as is the performance of
the data entry/retrieval into the interactive HTML form. This is used by many users of varying skill sets. The current
performance needs to be improved due to slow response time.
We need an individual with the right experience to quickly understand the use model and the technical aspects of this plugin
implementation. The ability to communicate clearly with the users of this tool is valuable.

This is a good opportunity to network and engage across multiple Client product locations
Qualifications - External

This requires the following experience:
- Java and javascript development experience using Maven Build environment
- Database development and data manipulation especially around MySQL and PostgreSQL databases using Java
- Familiarity with Atlassian JIRA plug-in development
- Eclipse build environment experience
- Familiar with JIRA plug-in software development environment
- Familiar with input and output formatting, creation, and configuration of excel data files
