Role Summary

We're looking for Product Builders to own complete product domains end-to-end—from customer problem discovery through implementation to user activation. This is a new type of role that combines product strategy, solution discovery, hands-on implementation using AI tools, and outcome ownership. You'll work in a small autonomous domain unit (1 Product Builder + 2 Senior Engineers), shipping features directly using Aerones AI development toolkit while collaborating with engineers on complex technical challenges.

This role is for builders who have strong judgment, deep user empathy, and the ability to move fast with AI amplification. You'll own one of six critical domains serving technicians, customers, sales teams, project managers, or internal operations.

What You'll Own

End-to-End Domain Ownership

• Define which problems to solve in your domain based on deep user understanding (technicians, customers, sales, project managers, or internal teams depending on domain).
• Design user workflows and experiences using AI prototyping tools, collaborating with Design Ops for complex cases and system coherence.
• Implement 70-80% of features directly using Aerones AI toolkit; partner with your 2 dedicated Senior Engineers on large/complex features.

Launch & Activation (Not Just Shipping)

• Create launch materials: knowledge base articles, demo videos, sales enablement briefs—ensure users know features exist and how to use them.
• Drive in-product onboarding and coordinated rollout so features get adopted, not just discovered accidentally.
• Instrument features with Product Analytics; monitor adoption, iterate based on data.

Domain Strategy & Metrics

• Set domain strategy within portfolio priorities.
• Manage domain backlog ruthlessly
• Own domain outcomes: adoption rates, user satisfaction, business impact metrics.
• Report domain health in bi-weekly portfolio reviews; identify opportunities and issues proactively.

Domain Unit Leadership

• Lead your domain unit as a tight-knit team—daily collaboration with 2 Senior Engineers (not handoffs, partnership).
• Make architectural and prioritization decisions together with engineers.
• Represent your domain in cross-domain initiatives.

What Success Looks Like

First 90 Days:

• Ship 3-5 features end-to-end with full launch materials
• Demonstrate AI toolkit proficiency and AI-first workflow
• Achieve >40% adoption on shipped features
• Strong collaborative relationship with domain engineers

First 6 Months:

• Consistent velocity: 2-3 features shipped per month
• Domain metrics trending positively (adoption, satisfaction, business outcomes)
• Clear domain strategy aligned with portfolio
• Recognized as domain expert internally

Requirements:
Must-Have Qualifications

Judgment & Decision-Making

• 5+ years in product management, product design, or technical roles (or 3+ as founder/technical leader) with proven ability to make high-quality decisions in ambiguous situations.
• Demonstrated track record of shipping products end-to-end and owning outcomes, not just outputs.
• Evidence of navigating complex trade-offs: speed vs. quality, customer requests vs. strategy, short-term vs. long-term.

Deep User Empathy

• Profound understanding of user needs through direct interaction—you talk to users constantly, not just read reports.
• Can predict how users will react before building; genuinely care about solving real problems.
• Experience designing workflows or products for operational/field contexts is a strong plus.

Technical Aptitude & AI Fluency

• Strong technical foundation: can understand code, work in development environments.
• Comfortable learning new tools rapidly—AI toolkit training takes 2-3 weeks; you'll be expected to become proficient.
• Prior experience implementing features (any language/framework) or building products hands-on is strongly preferred.

Communication & Collaboration

• Rally engineers, sales, and customers around your vision through clear, compelling communication.
• Give and receive feedback well; operate with high trust in small teams.
• Write clearly and present confidently to leadership and customers.

Ownership Mindset

• Bias for action: you finish what you start and don't wait for permission to improve things.
• Accountability for outcomes: when adoption is low, you iterate; when quality slips, you fix it.
• "Becoming over being" growth mindset—constantly expanding capabilities, experimenting with new approaches.

Good-to-Have

• Background in B2B enterprise software, field operations, logistics, or industrial/renewable energy contexts.
• Design or UX skills—ability to prototype interfaces and create compelling user experiences.
• Experience with full-stack implementation.
• Startup experience (50-300 people) where you wore multiple hats and moved fast.
• Fluency in multiple languages (English required).
