• Lead the architecture, design and implementation of power and thermal management for tablets and smart-phones built on Intel SoC.
• Debug and troubleshoot the most challenging issues in the low level Windows code and firmware components. • Lead architecture creation, design and implement power and thermal management for Intel SoC.
• Interface with internal teams while gathering requirements and use cases; and communicate designs and requirements to development and validation teams.
• Perform low-level debugging of various firmware and OS components and systems.
• Collect and analyze performance data to influence overall system design, improve performance and efficiency.
• Mentor and grow other engineers to ensure good engineering practices are used throughout the organization.
• 7 or more years of experience developing low-level Windows drivers and firmware for embedded/SoC, including PnP and ACPI.
• Innate understanding of x86 platform and Windows OS internals.
• Debug experience using Windows KD/WinDbg. Practical experience of using hardware debuggers (JTAG, ITP, Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, etc.)
• Expert knowledge of Windows PnP, power measurement, embedded and SoC hardware, demonstrated skills delivering efficient implementations in resource-constrained environments.
• BS or higher degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• 10 or more years of experience developing software in C/C++ for Windows OS on x86 platform.
