LAI games is growing, and we want to expand our service offerings to our customers. Customers can have remote access to the software management of their games, we are able to cooperate with them on the operation and maintenance of these games and they can also access to comprehensive use-data of their games for data analysis.
Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Software Manager, Platform and Game Delivery to lead a cross-functional team spanning Software Product Management, Frontend, Backend, and QA. This role combines technical leadership, system architecture ownership, and people management to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality software products.
You will be responsible for shaping the software product roadmap, driving engineering excellence, and ensuring the delivery of a sustainable platform that supports thousands of machines globally.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Architecture
Act as the Software Technical Lead, owning the design and evolution of a cloud-based infrastructure serving thousands of active machines worldwide
Ensure system scalability, reliability, security, and performance
Drive adoption of modern technologies and architectural best practices to meet evolving business needs
Oversee the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), from design through deployment and post-launch support
Product & Delivery Ownership
Own and execute the software product roadmap in alignment with business goals
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of features and enhancements
Provide Level 3 (L3) support for core infrastructure post-launch
Engineering Excellence
Define and enforce coding standards, secure coding practices, and development guidelines
Establish and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and quality assurance practices
Ensure proper code ownership, version control, and backup strategies
Drive continuous improvement in development processes and engineering productivity
People Management & Leadership
Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing product owner, developers and QA
Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and support career development
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning
Support hiring, onboarding, and retention of top engineering talent
Promote upskilling and professional growth within the team
Qualifications & Experience
7+ years of Software Engineering experience
3+ years of experience as a Technical Lead or a Software Manager, with a proven track record of mentoring and coaching engineering teams across multiple functions (Frontend, Backend, QA, etc.)
Proficiency in both frontend and backend technologies.
Solid experience in designing and architecting systems
Experience building and scaling systems in production
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Hands-on experience across the full SDLC, ideally across multiple projects or products
Experience developing Windows-based applications and working with the Windows operating system
Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
Strong understanding of secure software development practices and modern DevOps methodologies
Excellent problem-solving skills with a resourceful and proactive mindset
Passion for learning and adopting new technologies
