Job Description
About Us:
STARK is a new kind of defence technology company revolutionizing the way autonomous systems are deployed across multiple domains. We design, develop and manufacture high-performance unmanned systems that are software-defined, mass-scalable, and cost-effective. This provides our operators with a decisive edge in highly contested environments.
We’re focused on delivering deployable, high-performance systems—not future promises. In a time of rising threats, STARK is bolstering the technological edge of NATO Allies and their Partners to deter aggression and defend Europe - today.
Your mission:
Provide dedicated, on-site software integration expertise to ensure reliable, fast, and repeatable system-level integration across flight, mission, payload, communications, and ground software. You will be the first line of defense during build and test activities, reducing integration bottlenecks, accelerating fault resolution, and protecting development velocity as system complexity and test intensity increase.
Responsibilities:
• Integrate flight software, mission software, payload interfaces, communications, and ground systems into stable, test-ready configurations
• Support system bring-up, configuration, and validation on real hardware during development and test campaigns
• Act as the primary investigator for system-level software issues during build and test, enabling rapid diagnosis and resolution
• Work closely with Systems Engineering to ensure software behavior aligns with system-level requirements and verification plans
• Enable rapid software changes, configuration updates, and debugging during time-critical test windows
• Improve repeatability, stability, and reliability of integrated software builds used by test and flight teams
• Reduce reliance on remote integration support by providing continuous on-site integration coverage
• Maintain continuous forward progress on integration tasks across multiple subsystems
Qualifications:
• + 7 years of relevant experience in similar positions
• Strong experience in software integration for complex, multi-subsystem platforms (e.g. aerospace, robotics, autonomous systems, embedded systems)
• Hands-on experience integrating software on real hardware in lab or test environments
• Ability to debug system-level issues spanning software, hardware interfaces, and configuration
• Experience working closely with Systems Engineering and test teams
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, test-driven environments with time-critical milestones
• Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mindset during build and test execution
• Ability and willingness to work full-time on site
