As a member of a team providing services to our client Airbus D&S, you will have the following responsibility:
• For hardware/software: Analysis of requirements and design of LRI (Line Replaceable Items) software (Aircraft Characteristics/Configuration (AC) and Digital-to-Analog Converters (DAC))
• For software: Analysis of software structure and design (AC and DAC)
• Preparation of test cases for the evaluation of code units
• Preparation of test cases for the demonstration verification of software requirements
• Creation and optimization of test descriptions and test procedures
• Preparation and optimization of the test environment Analysis and documentation of test results Preparation of software problem reports
• Contribution to software lifecycle reviews and required document reviews
• Development of test and integration concepts
• Development, use and optimization of tools to support integration testing, commissioning of new or modified test facilities
You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:
• Master's/Diploma in Computer science or aerospace engineering or comparable professional experience. Minimum 3 years engineering knowledge of avionics systems is required.
• Experience with mission systems is an advantage.
• Vectorcast experience (platform for automating test activities across the entire software development lifecycle) is desirable.
• Knowledge of military aircraft systems, ideally the Tornado system, is advantageous.
• Specialized programming experience with Python and/or C++ is required.
• Meticulous and goal-oriented work style.
• Fluency in English and German is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
This job is located in Manching, Germany.
The role would require obtaining Ü2 clearance.
