Software Expert (Office Suite)

Compensation: $0-$100per hour

This project addresses that gap by collecting high-quality screen annotations and screen recordings performed by experienced domain experts working in real digital environments.

Requirements:
Your Responsibilities

Depending on the phase of the project, you may be required to perform one or both of the following tasks:

• Record screen sessions showcasing specific tasks, accompanied by clear verbal explanations for each step
• Annotate screenshots of professional software by accurately outlining relevant UI elements with bounding boxes
• Follow detailed staging instructions to establish specific UI states before recording
• Utilize a custom capture tool for consistent and accurate workflow recordings
• Strictly follow task guidelines to maintain the quality and usability of the data

Your Profile

• You possess a strong familiarity with professional software tools in your field, such as:
• Word
• PowerPoint
• Excel

• You are detail-oriented and capable of adhering to precise instructions
• You are comfortable working independently and meeting tight deadlines
• You have access to a physical Mac and can create a new macOS user profile if necessary

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in data collection, annotation, or QA tasks
• Experience in recording or documenting workflows
• Confidence in working with new tools and staged environments

Indicators of Success

• Screen annotations are accurate, consistent, and comply with the provided guidelines
• Screen recordings effectively capture authentic, expert workflows
• Tasks are executed efficiently while ensuring high quality
• Gathered data is usable on a large scale for subsequent AI research and development

Contractual and Payment Terms

• You will work as an independent contractor.
• This role is fully remote, allowing you to work on your own schedule.
• Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded early based on needs and performance.
• Payments will be issued weekly via Stripe or Wise, reflecting services rendered.
