Software Engineer (Vuejs.+Nodejs)

We are looking for a Software Engineer (Vue.js primary + Nodejs) with 3+ years of experience. 

You will focus mainly on building responsive UIs with:

Vue3, Vuetify, and Vuex (about 80%),

also contributing to backend tasks like RESTful APIs with Node.js and Express (about 20%)

Frontend Responsibilities

Designing and building UI pages according to specific design specifications (Sketch) with a strong understanding of UX principles.

Setting up and working with various development environments and OS/browser configurations for UI testing and development.

Building SPA applications using Vue3 and integrating them with backend REST API services.

Solid understanding of state management using Vuex.

Building custom UI components using Vuetify, as well as leveraging built-in framework components effectively.

Writing both unit and integration tests for UI journeys. Exposure to Playwright is an advantage.

Troubleshooting and debugging UI applications.

Working collaboratively within a GitHub branching workflow, including merging code and resolving conflicts.

Backend Responsibilities (Node.js / Express)

Designing, building, and maintaining RESTful API services using Node.js and Express.

Creating modular, reusable, and well-structured Express route handlers, middleware, and controllers.

Integrating backend services with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB), writing efficient , and ensuring data integrity.

Implementing authentication and authorisation mechanisms (e.g., JWT, OAuth, session-based auth).

Writing backend unit tests using frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Supertest.

Implementing proper logging, error handling, validation, and request sanitisation for secure and maintainable backend services.

Optimising backend performance and scalability, including caching, query tuning, and load handling.

Working with asynchronous programming patterns (Promises, async/await) and event-driven architecture where applicable.
