TEAM
The Enterprise AI Team’s mission is to give Toyota a platform for AI growth. The team works to simplify training, inference, MLops and other aspects of AI development. This is used internally to build safety, convenience and autonomy for the Toyota vehicles.
The Enterprise AI - Trustworthy AI team focuses on end to end integration of tools supporting the AI development lifecycle to provide traceability and visibility on how models are trained, tested and deployed. We enable model developers and model owners to build safer and higher quality models on our development platform.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
As a member of the Enterprise AI - Trustworthy AI team, you are passionate about machine learning and AI tools, having either built or used them in the past. You have experience working with early-stage teams and products, bringing them to production building and maintaining backend services from the ground up. Finally you are a great communicator able to work across different teams effectively.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work with product manager and other engineers to develop Enterprise AI core features, especially those related to “Trustworthy AI”
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders and customers to understand their timelines and feedback to build effective AI tools to meet their use cases
• Participate in team meetings (such as sprint planning and retrospective, and technical discussions)
• Continuously work to improve the outcomes of the team and the business
• Come to the office 3x/week following our hybrid work policy

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• At least 3 years of experience with backend software development, especially in Go
• Experience with deployment infrastructure (AWS / GCP / Kubernetes) and maintenance (ex. monitoring and debugging) of backend applications
• Experience with source control (GitHub, GitLab) development tools, including Git, continuous integration, and code review
• Experience working on product development and deploying features into production

NICE TO HAVES:
• Experience working with AI, especially “Trustworthy AI” in a safety/privacy/reliability perspective
• Full stack experience (ex. infrastructure and/or frontend)
• Experience and knowledge with tools like MLFlow
