Software Engineer Team Lead for Viewer

As a FED Team Leader with the viewer team, you will make an impact as we develop a massive-scale application (written in Typescript), which is the rendering engine of Wix websites.

• Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship

• Maintain high standards of software quality by establishing good practices and habits

• Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team

• Collaborate with various stakeholders to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain extraordinary features

• Tackle tough problems in complex business flows and find creative ways to solve them

• An experienced software engineer with 4+ years of engineering experience and at least 2 years of experience leading a team.

• Experienced with large-scale web applications and enjoy touching every frontend and backend aspect of the application

• Creative, fast learner who enjoys overcoming challenges in a complex environment.

• Excellent communication skills, an inherent willingness to help others and the ability to deep dive into complex applications

• Proactive, with a desire to always understand why things are done the way they are.

We are the Viewer company. We’re responsible for the rendering engine behind every site created with Wix editors. The viewer is a single application that supports rendering, both on server and client, on all platforms, with a special emphasis on performance. We work on projects that affect the entire company, all Wix users and users of users. We’re focused on performance, reliability, company-wide projects integration, velocity and product (always adding new features).
