• Develop and take ownership of a unified definition that captures user intent for all sites across all editors.

• Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship

• Maintain architecture which remains performant in extreme cases.

• Maintain high standards of software quality by establishing good practices and habits

• Collaborate with various stakeholders to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain extraordinary features.

• A software engineer with ideally 2+ years experience leading a team

• Proven track record leading major efforts, prioritizing tasks, and delivering high-quality results within set timelines

• You’re experienced with large-scale web applications and have the ability to deep dive into complex applications. 

• You’re a creative, quick learner who enjoys overcoming challenges in a complex environment

• Excellent communication skills and an inherent willingness to help others

• Proactive and always striving to understand why things are done the way they are

Document Management is the common infrastructure for all of the Wix Editors. It has no UI and is purely about data structure that keeps the user intent at the forefront of everything we do. 

We define how sites are modeled, from the basic building blocks (text, images, buttons, etc.) to much more complex applications.

Our daily work is to maintain all of the necessary APIs and storage needed to edit, load, save and publish sites, undo and redo, and do data migrations. All at an extremely large scale.
