ABOUT THE JOB

Come join one of the strongest performing mixed reality teams in the industry, dedicated to revolutionizing experiences for the warfighter. You will develop and optimize advanced game development and game engine technologies that drive real-time simulation, immersive training, and critical mission planning capabilities. This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise and creative problem-solving skills as you contribute to national defense initiatives while pushing the boundaries of mixed reality.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Develop and maintain localization algorithms and systems for AR/VR headsets

• With mentorship of others, would own a component of the navigation stack for "Project Buck".

• Inertial navigation and filtering for SBMC headsets

• Contribute to real-time AR systems including SLAM, localization, navigation, simulation, and more.

• Work with a small team of 4 engineers (plus HM) focused on delivering systems that must work robustly in the harshest and most challenging environments in the world.

• Team members will be responsible for end-to-end development, testing, and verification of state-of-the art platforms for AR systems.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities

• 3-7 years of experience in developing quality software products

• Strong proficiency with C++ development

• Approach problems holistically with the end-user in mind

• Able to cut through ambiguity and design experiments to inform product decisions

• Strong mathematics background

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and robotics

• Experience with SLAM and VIO systems

• Linux/Android and Windows development

• Experience with cameras and digital sensors

• Experience with inertial sensors, GPS

• Experience developing distributed systems with limited compute resources

US Salary Range
$191,000—$253,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
