We are looking for passionate backend developers to help us build our customer-facing applications. To be successful in this role you must have several years of experience with Ruby and Ruby On Rails, have experience with service-oriented architectures, GraphQL, REST, and have experience working with front-end teams (we use React/TS).

This position is in-person, located in downtown San Francisco. In this role you will have the opportunity to be a leader within a team in an agile environment with short decision paths. We’re building a generational company in which you will be a key founding member.

What You Will Do:

• Within your first couple of months you will lead development on a large part of the platform with a strong sense of ownership and user obsession

• Apply your back-end and distributed systems experience to help scale our Rails-based platform and drive continuous improvement in code quality, tools and processes

• Work collaboratively in San Francisco and with our global team.

• Identify customer challenges, develop innovative solutions, and continuously prototype, refine, demo, and deliver every day.

What You Bring to the Table:

• 3+ years using Ruby On Rails

• PostgreSQL, MySQL Knowledge

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

• Appreciation for a collaborative, test-driven environment

• Able to write well-structured and maintainable code

• Experience with Docker is a plus

Bonus Points:

• High-growth SaaS experience, including scalability challenges

• Familiarity with building AI tools and leveraging AI to build faster

• Knowledge in frontend systems/frameworks like React/TS and similar is a plus
