Software Engineer (Python)

We are urgently looking for a skilled Python Engineer with 3 to 5 years of professional experience to join our backend engineering team. The ideal candidate must have strong hands on experience in designing, building, and optimizing scalable backend systems using Python. You will work closely with cross functional teams to deliver high performance services that support real world digital products. This is an urgent position and we aim to hire within a short time.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Application Development

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and microservices using Python.

• Work with modern Python frameworks such as Django, Django REST Framework, FastAPI, or Flask.

API and Service Architecture

• Build and maintain RESTful and, where applicable, gRPC based APIs and backend services.

• Integrate with databases, internal platforms, and third party systems.

Performance and Scalability Engineering

• Write efficient, scalable Python code with a focus on performance and reliability.

• Optimize services for high throughput and low latency.

Database Design and Optimization

• Work with relational and non relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.

• Design schemas, write optimized queries, and ensure data consistency and performance.

System Design and Architecture

• Participate in designing scalable architectures, distributed systems, and event driven workflows.

• Ensure robustness, security, observability, and maintainability of backend services.

Code Quality and Testing

• Write clean, idiomatic Python code with proper documentation.

• Implement unit, integration, and API tests, and participate in code reviews.

Monitoring, Security, and Debugging

• Use logs, tracing, and monitoring tools to identify bottlenecks and debug production issues.

• Follow secure coding practices and contribute to improving security across services.

Cross Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with DevOps, QA, Product Managers, and other engineering teams to deliver features on time.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices and the overall product ecosystem.

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Three to five years of professional experience building production systems using Python.

• Strong understanding of Python internals, async programming, and performance optimization.

• Experience building RESTful APIs and working with at least one modern Python web framework (Django, Django REST Framework, FastAPI, Flask, or similar).

• Solid understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and event driven patterns.

• Hands on experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, or other database systems.

• Familiarity with message queues such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or NATS is a plus.

• Experience with containers, Kubernetes, CI or CD pipelines, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Strong grasp of software design patterns, clean code principles, and secure coding practices.

• Excellent debugging skills, problem solving ability, and communication skills.

• Ability to join immediately will be considered a strong advantage
