Software Engineer — Platform Team @ Finsolutia

The short version
We're looking for a Software Engineer to join our Platform team at Finsolutia. We build the shared services, tools, and infrastructure that other engineering teams rely on every day. If you like solving problems that multiply across an entire organization — and you're not afraid to touch the stuff everyone else avoids — you'll feel right at home.
 
What the Platform team does
We're the team behind the scenes. Our "customers" are the other engineering teams at Finsolutia, and our job is to make them faster, safer, and more productive. That means:

Building and maintaining shared backend services consumed across multiple products

Owning the developer experience — CI/CD pipelines (Azure Pipelines), code quality (SonarQube), and security (penetration testing)

Keeping things observable and performant with Dynatrace

Managing our AI gateway (OpenAI, Google Vertex, and more)

Integrating with external providers using solid integration patterns — callbacks, webhooks, retries, idempotency, the works

What we're looking for
You care about the craft. Git workflows, pull requests, code reviews, CI/CD, and automated testing aren't checkboxes to you — they're how you work.

You're strong in .NET. ASP.NET Core and SQL Server are your daily tools. You write tests (xUnit) not because someone told you to, but because shipping without them feels wrong.

You think in systems. You understand that your code will be consumed by other teams, so you design clean APIs, write good documentation, and think about the developer on the other side.

You're not afraid of legacy. Every company has it. You see legacy code as an opportunity, not a burden. You refactor with confidence and leave things better than you found them.

You bring energy. We want someone who shows up motivated, curious, and ready to make things better. Positivity is contagious, and we want more of it.
 
Nice to have (but not required)

Frontend experience, especially React

Gen AI knowledge — if you're curious about LLMs, prompt engineering, or building AI-powered features, you'll have plenty to play with here

Integration pattern expertise — idempotency, retry strategies, webhook design, and all the fun of making distributed systems behave
