Department Overview Unified Commnunications Job Description We're seeking a highly capable Software Engineer to join our Platform team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in databases and automation through scripting. Basic Requirements Job Description: The F5 Engineering team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated engineer to drive the automation and enhance the reliability of our critical application delivery infrastructure. The ideal candidate will combine deep F5 networking expertise with a strong automation mindset to build scalable, resilient, and efficient systems. Primary Skils: F5 Proficiency: Hands-on mastery of F5 LTM/DNS configuration , including tmsh command-line and iControl REST API integration. Automation Expertise: Demonstrated ability to write, debug, and maintain complex Ansible playbooks. Proficiency in any scripting language such as Python, Perl, or Shell is required. Networking & Systems Fundamentals: Strong knowledge of Linux/UNIX operating systems and a deep understanding of the TCP/IP suite, routing, DNS, HTTP, and TLS. Secondary Skills: Experience with source code management tools ( Git/SVN ). Understanding of any cloud Azure/AWS IaaS, including virtual networking, NSGs, and ARM templates. Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps). F5 certification is an added advantage. Basic understanding of containerization (Docker).
