Software Engineer - Machine Learning Feature Store

IN THIS ROLE AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:

- Design and build new features for the Snowflake Feature Store in collaboration with senior engineers.

- Write, test, and deploy high-quality, scalable code in Java and Python.

- Help incorporate new advances in machine learning into our platform.

- Contribute to the operational excellence of our services by improving reliability and performance.

- Collaborate with engineers on partner teams to build integrated and seamless ML solutions for customers.

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:

- 2+ years of industry experience (or equivalent internship/project experience) designing and building data-intensive systems or software.

- Strong programming skills in Python or Java.

- A solid understanding of computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, operating systems).

- A passion for building scalable, high-performance systems.

- A growth mindset and an eagerness to learn and solve complex problems.

- BS in Computer Science or a related degree; MS/PhD is a plus.

- Bonus Points: Experience with ML data management and/or streaming , low latency data serving infrastructure.

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

- The estimated base salary range for this role is $160,000 - $230,000.

- Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake’s bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
