What we intend to do together:
• Shape the entire development process: Support projects from requirements analysis to architecture and design to implementation, testing and validation.
• Develop innovative solutions: Work on hardware-related applications for safety-critical systems.
• Use modern tools: Use tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, CMake, Google Test, Cucumber, Matlab and Simulink – knowledge of DOORS, Enterprise Architect, RTOS or Qt is a plus.
• Get actively involved: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams and contribute to the continuous development of our software solutions.
• Stakeholder Management: Communicate both internally and externally, and collaborate closely with project teams, stakeholders and customers.
What you convince with:
• You have successfully completed a degree in computer science, technical computer science or a comparable qualification.
• You have at least 4 years of solid professional experience as a software developer – ideally in the defence sector, alternatively in the automotive or aviation industry.
• You have in-depth knowledge of the development of embedded and real-time systems.
• You have experience with Linux, continuous integration & delivery, unit testing and test automation.
• Communication protocols such as CAN, Ethernet, Profinet or LIN are a plus.
• You are proficient in C++ and Java – knowledge of C, Python, Rust or Perl is welcome.
• You are characterised by your ability to work independently and take on responsibility.
• You can explain complex issues clearly and communicate effectively.
• You enjoy working in a team and see mutual support and collaboration as a given.
• You take a proactive approach, driving ideas and solutions forward independently.
• You work autonomously and are confident in taking ownership of your tasks and results.
• You have excellent English skills, both written and spoken.
• Ideally, you also have knowledge of German.
