Software Engineer (Java)

The Alpega Group is looking for a Software Engineer. This role will be part of our TMS team. This role is based in Khon Kaen, Thailand.

The Alpega Group is looking for a Software Engineer. This role will be part of our TMS team. This role is based in Khon Kaen, Thailand.  

ABOUT THE ROLE 

Working as a member of an agile feature-team in designing, coding, and testing new features of our ALPEGA transport-management-system (TMS) cloud platform 

Development of solutions for technically challenging logistics requirements 

Taking ownership of code quality and performing code reviews to ensure maintainable, reliable, and clean code 

Continuous improvement and refactoring of the existing code base to strive for technical excellence 

Implementation of comprehensive automated tests following a behavior-driven development approach 

WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN YOU 

Have a good command of Java, JUnit, SQL, JavaScript, and experience in software development, or you have the ambition to develop yourself 

A team player with experience in a collaborative, agile work environment 

Like to learn, are flexible, and have a will to deep dive into an existing code base to further improve our product platform together with your team colleagues 

Familiar with some other technologies we use, such as Oracle DB, Oracle Cloud, Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence), Ansible, GitLab, Selenide, and Rest API 

Feel comfortable working in English 

You will be tested in these competencies throughout your selection process.
