What you will be doing

We are looking for a Software Engineer Intern to support proof-of-concept (POC) technology initiatives and the maintenance and enhancement of existing systems. As a Software Engineer Intern, you will work closely with senior engineers and product teams to build, test, and improve full-stack applications that power WhiteCoat’s digital healthcare platform.

On a day-to-day basis, this means you will:

• Support the development of POC projects to evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and ideas.

• Assist in building and maintaining full-stack features, including frontend components (JavaScript) and backend services (Java).

• Fix bugs, improve performance, and enhance reliability of existing applications.

• Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to code reviews and technical discussions.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers in an agile development environment.
