Job Description

Performance is a software and engineering services firm that provides innovative, turnkey solutions for safety-critical projects and is engaged in the design of Real-time embedded software and hardware. We serve clients in the avionics, aerospace/defense, rocketry, healthcare, and energy markets.

If you are studying software development in a Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a Computer Engineering curriculum and have a 3.0 GPA, keep reading.

This Internship position is a 40 hour per week position in the Summertime and a 20+ hour per week position during your school year. Candidates must be able to stay with us for the summer and one semester of school. 

Job Requirements

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

Must live near one of our offices to be on-site 3 days a week (Phoenix, AZ, New Orleans, LA, Grand Rapids, MI, Clearwater, FL, Bothell, WA, Cedar Rapids, IA)

Must be a current Junior or Senior

Currently enrolled in an accredited Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering program or similar software development curriculum

Minimum 3.0 GPA

Knowledge in any of the following languages: C, C++, C#, Java, Python, ADA
